As earlier Arranged and planned By Management, students and Management Members of Komenda College of Education on 12th February, 2022 Donated Blood to support Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Blood Bank.
The exercise which took place at the College’s Library had in attendance over hundreds of students and staff members participating
Participants were given detailed education on the need and important of the exercise to the Nation , the blood bank community as well as the benefits awaits them as Donors.
Tests were conducted on all the participants to ensure they were well fit, sound and their HB levels were also alright before the Donation..
Successful Donors were given provisions and other food supplements to help replenish their Red blood cells as soon as possible..
