The Ada College of Education Students’ Representative Council (SRC) is an essential body responsible for bridging the gap between the administration and the student body.

The success of the SRC lies in its ability to function effectively and efficiently for the betterment of the college community.

In 2019, the SRC administration led by Hon. John Sarfo Adu initiated a project called “The SRC Secretariat” to create a central hub for all SRC-related activities.

The vision behind the SRC Secretariat was to have a designated space that served as a one-stop-shop for all SRC-related inquiries, engagements, and events.

The idea was to enhance the functioning of the SRC and create a more conducive environment for students to voice their concerns and opinions.

The project was continued by the immediate past SRC administration, led by Hon. Gideon Ametsikor, who made significant progress in its implementation.

The current administration, led by Hon. Emmanuel Larserh, has taken over and is making notable efforts to continue the project’s legacy.

One of the critical objectives of the 2023 ADACOE administration is to ensure that the SRC Secretariat project is completed, implemented, and utilized to its maximum potential.

To achieve this objective, the SRC administration is calling on governmental and non-governmental organizations, sister institutions, old students, and other benevolent individuals to come to their aid.

The SRC is appealing to all stakeholders to support the project in any way they can, whether through funding or in-kind contributions.

The project’s completion will have a significant impact on the college community, enhancing the SRC’s effectiveness, addressing student grievances, and improving the college’s overall atmosphere.
