The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has announced the commencement of applications for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund (VCSF) for the academic year.
This fund aims to provide financial support to brilliant but needy undergraduate students. Interested students are encouraged to apply.

Submission Details
Completed application forms which can be accessed at https://uew.edu.gh/sites/default/files/2024-02/VCSF.pdf must be submitted to the respective Dean of Faculty or the Principal of the Centre for Distance Learning (CODeL) by Thursday, 29th February 2024.
Students enrolled in the Distance Education program should submit their forms to the Principal of CODeL through their Study Centre Coordinators.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund (VCSF), applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Ghanaian Citizenship: Applicants must be recognized as Ghanaian citizens according to the Constitution of Ghana.
- Undergraduate Status: Only current undergraduate students of UEW are eligible to apply for the VCSF.
- Non-Full Fee-Paying Program: Applicants must be enrolled in a non-full fee paying program at the University.
- Academic Merit and Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate a strong academic ability and financial need. Evidence and documentation should be provided to support the applicant’s potential for higher education at UEW.
- Application Deadline: A completed Application Form for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund must be submitted before the announced deadline.
- Non-Recipient of Similar Scholarship: Applicants should not already be benefiting from a similar scholarship.
