The Executive Director of Africa Education Watch, Kofi Asare, has found a classical example to illustrate why he thinks Ghanaian Teachers are “fear men”.

In a post sighted by Coleman Publications on his Facebook wall, Kofi Asare wrote” You see why I keep saying 99% of teachers are ‘fear men’? If you are afraid to speak publicly against injustice, and you can’t volunteer credible information to enable us to do the job either, then don’t come wasting our time. No time for time wasters.

The post was believed to be necessitated by a conversation between him and someone supposed to be a teacher in one of the senior high schools currently writing their WASSCE.

Below is the screenshot shared by kofi Asare to back his claim that teachers are “fear men”

The exchange between Kofi Asare and the supposed teacher

The basis for the pronouncement by the major education stakeholder was because a supposed teacher seemed to raise a profound concern regarding how final-year students were delayed in entering the examination hall.

After all, such students failed to pay their PTA dues in full, but the teacher was unwilling to provide relevant information to the CEO to follow up on the report.
