The Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection has announced the immediate termination of contracts for all Regional and Zonal Coordinators of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP).
In a statement released on March 4, 2025, Minister Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey (MP) expressed gratitude to the outgoing coordinators for their service and dedication to the GSFP, extending her best wishes for their future endeavours.
Effective immediately, affected coordinators are instructed to visit the GSFP Secretariat to collect their official termination letters and receive further instructions regarding the handover process.

While the Ministry has yet to disclose specific reasons for the mass termination, it stated that further details will be communicated in due course.
The Ministry has also assured the public that the GSFP will continue its operations uninterrupted and that new measures will be implemented to improve the program’s efficiency and long-term sustainability.
