The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially announced the registration period for the 2025/2026 service year.

The registration process for the trained teachers has already commenced and will continue until 28th February 2025.

This period does not include the regional verification. However, all eligible personnel are urged to complete their registration within the stipulated timeframe.

It should be noted that the PIN codes released were for trained teachers from colleges of education with active accreditation.

Therefore, those who have received their PINs are urged to register for their mandatory national service.

NSS Registration Process

To register, trained teachers should follow these steps:

  • Visit the NSS website: Go to the NSS portal at https://portal.nss.gov.gh/
  • Access your PIN code: Use your index number and date of birth to obtain your unique PIN code at https://portal.nss.gov.gh/check-pin
  • Payment of registration fee: Make the necessary payment to activate your PIN code. This can be done at any branch of ADB Bank Ltd. or via MTN Mobile Money.
  • Complete the online registration: Fill out the registration form on the NSS website with your personal and academic details at https://portal.nss.gov.gh/registration-signin
  • Submit and print: After completing the form, submit your registration and print the registration confirmation for future reference.

It should be noted that after the normal registration, NSA will come out with a date for the regional verification to commence
