This article is an update for all those who have not yet received the four-month allowance disbursed by the SLTF (Students Loan Trust Fund) in July.
It has come to our attention that many students are attempting to resolve this issue by contacting the SLTF directly, rather than going through their respective allowance coordinators.
Such students are strongly advised to adhere to the proper channel and submit their details to their coordinators instead.
The reason behind this recommendation is that their allowance coordinator possesses the authority to submit their information to the Trust Fund.
In contrast, contacting the SLTF directly hampers the processing and results in unnecessary delays.
Again, students should take note that the SLTF is currently operating on a new system( Uploading of beneficiaries’ details). As a result, new particulars were collected.

This means that if a student had been receiving payments in the past but had not received the recent allowance, his details might have not been captured in the new system.
In such cases, their allowance coordinator will assist them in updating their information to rectify the situation.
To streamline the process further, all the allowance coordinators in the various colleges are urged to promptly handle the list of grievances and upload the necessary information into the system for the necessary disburesment.
