The Commission for Technical and Vocational Educational Training (CTVET) has announced an extension to the registration deadline for the May/June 2025 Certificate II examinations and other Technical examinations.
The original deadline of March 20, 2025, has been extended to March 28, 2025.
Call to Action
CTVET is urging all relevant institutions, including Technical Universities, and both Public and Private Technical Institutes, to ensure all outstanding candidate registrations are completed on the electronic registration portal before the new deadline.
Registration Guidelines
The Commission has also issued a series of guidelines for the registration process:
- The online registration portal will close at midnight on Friday, March 28th, 2025.
- Candidates should carefully verify the accuracy of their names before submission. CTVET will not be responsible for errors.
- Manual registrations will not be accepted.
- Continuous Assessment marks of 30% must be entered for Certificate II candidates.
- Entry qualifications for DBS candidates writing for the first time include specific GCE ‘O’ Level, RSA, or SSSCE/WASSCE requirements (detailed above).
- Fees must be paid directly to CTVET as outlined on the registration portal.
- A minimum of five candidates is required for each programme registration.
- The photo size must be 3cm x 3cm with a white background.
- Technical Drawing is compulsory for all third-year candidates, except for those in specific programs like Hospitality, Cosmetology, Fashion Design, Printing, and General Textiles.
