GES Adjusts Reopening Date for Single Track Schools – Check Here

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced a new reopening date for Single Track Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools across the country.

Originally set for an earlier date, the reopening has now been rescheduled to April 23, 2025.

In a letter dated March 27, 2025, signed by Prince C. Agyemang-Duah, Director of Schools and Instructions Division on behalf of the Acting Director-General, GES urged Regional Directors to inform all Heads of Single Track schools about this change.

The directive advised school heads to relay the information to parents, guardians, and students in order for them to adequately prepare for the new date.

Heads were also encouraged to align their plans with the revised schedule to ensure the successful resumption of academic activities.

The rescheduling of the reopening date is aimed at ensuring that schools are adequately prepared to receive students and resume academic activities effortlessly.

Therefore, parents and guardians are advised to note the revised date and ensure students are ready to begin the school term on April 23.
