Trainees at St. Vincent College of Education are reporting widespread errors in their academic results, compounded by persistent problems with the college’s online results portal.
Allegations include mixed-up results, missing grades, and login difficulties, leaving many trainees uncertain about their academic standing.
The initial complaint, shared by a Level 200 student, detailed a request for a formal review of grades for the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.
The trainee claimed discrepancies between their expected grades and those displayed on the official transcript, specifically in Level 200 courses.
“Upon reviewing my results, I noticed some discrepancies that I would like to bring to your attention, I have approached our management but nothing has been done” the initial message stated.
“I believe that there may have been an error in the grading process, and I would greatly appreciate it if our management could look into this matter urgently.”

However, subsequent messages from the other trainees revealed that the problems extend far beyond individual grade disputes.
A critical issue highlighted is the alleged mixing of Level 200 and Level 400 results, rendering the Level 400 portals completely blank for both the first and second semesters.
Furthermore, significant inconsistencies in Level 300 results have been reported, with students claiming to receive either Continuous Assessment (CA) scores without corresponding Examination scores, or vice-versa, particularly in the Guidance and Counseling course.
“Access to the portal itself is also proving problematic for many students, with a significant number unable to log in at all”
Several crucial courses, including African Studies, Liberal Studies, and Post Internship, are also reportedly missing entirely from the online portal for many students.

These widespread issues have left trainees deeply concerned about the accuracy of their academic records and the potential impact on their future career prospects.
According to the trainees, their college administration has yet to release an official statement addressing the reported issues.
Trainees are now urging the college to conduct a thorough investigation and implement immediate corrective measures to ensure the accuracy and accessibility of their academic records.
