The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a directive to all Regional Directors, requesting the submission of data on staff eligible for transfer grants and other allowances for the years 2023 and 2024.
The request is part of the GES’s annual budget implementation, which ensures that qualified staff receive their entitlements.
Regional Directors are instructed to inform Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Education Executives (MMDEs) through their HR and budget officers to compile and submit the necessary documentation.
The GES emphasized that applicants who requested transfers to their current stations or those whose relocation distance does not meet the 50km policy threshold should not be included.
