From our lesson yesterday, we saw that Jesus Christ has fixed and finished everything on the cross for us. All He needs from us is to believe and speak it forth.
Now, Do you know there is nothing in this world that can defile or destroy you than your own words? O yeah! Jesus purified and sanctified us once and for all! But many are ignorantly destroying and defiling themselves through their utterance! This is very dangerous! Jesus said;
Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which Come out of the mouth, this defileth a man. Mat 15:11 KJV
Look at that! Jesus made the point clearer and straightforward here! Not that which entered the mouth makes a man unclean and defile but that which cometh from it. Which words are you speaking? That you are not righteous? You are unholy? You are poor? And a useless material on earth? Hey! You are destroying your own self.. You are tarnishing your own image and likeness you are in God! You are defiling yourself! Stop it! Jesus vividly point out the reason why He said a man is only defiles by His words. Look at it:
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. Mat 15:18KJV
Did you just read that? Words we speak forth cometh from the heart! This shows that indeed we mean everything that we says.
Jesus made it clear, its not by breaking the law that will make you ritually unclean, but the words that you will speak forth. Mind your words and confessions, because it has the power to make or unmake you. Speak the words of power and His righteousness over your life! Speak His goodness to yourself and it shall manifest..
