WENDA Ghana to hold Maths/Science Quiz Competition For Schools in Western North Region


The Western North Development Association popularly called WENDA Ghana is set to organize its maiden Science and Mathematics quiz competition among all senior high schools within the western north region of Ghana.

According to Mr Maxwell Baidoo, the secretary of the association, the quiz will come off as planned, stating the modalities the association has taken to rally the success of the competition. Elucidating all the participating schools will meet at Sefwi Wiawso Senior High school on the 24th of February,2023 for balloting and placement.

The secretary added that the schools will be grouped into zones depending on the number of schools that will avail themselves to participate in competition. The schools to top in each group contest qualifies to the grand finale of the competition.

The grand finale will be held in Bibiani,a town noted for huge and grand celebration of Ghana independence day celebration on 6th march 2023.

According to the President of Association.Mr Tony Tsina Addai, there will be cash prices for performing schools as well as citations and other packages for all the participated schools.

The motive of this project by the association is to improve the performance of Western North Schools during the National Science and Mathematics Quiz Competition which is held annually.
