The National President of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana, H.E Razak Soale, has disclosed that the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) is ready to disburse two months of allowance arrears to teacher trainees.
The payment is expected to be released at any moment, according to Soale.
“Two months arrears are ready and will be disbursed to teacher trainees,” Soale confirmed, urging trainees to make their E-Zwich cards ready in anticipation of the funds.

Since the start of the 2023/2024 academic year, trainees have only received two months of their allowance.
This upcoming disbursement is expected to clear all outstanding arrears for the first semester of the 2023-2024 academic year, ensuring that trainees receive their full allowance for that semester.

The arrears for the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year are also expected to be released soon.
However, it is worth noting that the 2023-2024 academic year for teacher trainees ends on Friday, October 11, 2024.
