The University of Ghana has announced the postponement of the commencement of the 2024/2025 academic year.
This decision was made in light of the ongoing strike by the Senior Staff Association of the University of Ghana (SSA-UG), which has caused disruptions in the normal operation of the institution.
The university was set to kick off the new academic year on Thursday, 26th September, with lectures scheduled to begin on Tuesday, 1st October, 2024.
