The University for Development Studies (UDS) has announced the indefinite postponement of the reopening date for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The original reopening date, scheduled for September 27, 2024, has been put on hold due to the ongoing industrial action by three major university unions.
The Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA), the Senior Staff Association – Universities of Ghana (SSA-UoG), and the Teachers and Educational Workers’ Union of the Trade Union Congress (TEWU-TUC) of Public Universities are currently engaged in industrial action, affecting academic services delivery at the UDS.
