The Management of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has announced that its undergraduate admission portal is now open for qualified individuals to apply for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Prospective applicants can purchase the admission vouchers at various branches of designated banks across the country.

Admission Voucher
Applicants can obtain the undergraduate admission voucher at a cost of GHC 225.00 at the following banks nationwide:
- GCB
- ADB
- Consolidated Bank Ghana
- Zenith Bank
- Prudential Bank Ltd
- Access Bank
- Ghana Post Office
Admission Requirements
WASSCE
For WASSCE (West African Senior School Certificate Examination) certificate holders, applicants must have at least six passes (A1-C6), including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies, and three other relevant elective subjects.
The total aggregate should not exceed 36.
SSCE
For SSSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination) certificate holders, applicants must have at least credit passes (A-D) in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies, and three other relevant elective subjects.
The total aggregate should not exceed 24.
SCHOOL CERTIFICATE/GCE HOLDERS:
School Certificate/GCE (General Certificate of Education) holders should have two passes in relevant subjects at the GCE ‘A’ Level, as well as five credits at the GCE ‘O’ Level, including English Language and Mathematics.
Applicants with GCE results older than five years are advised to apply as mature applicants.

NOTE: Students yet to write their WASSCE this year can also apply as awaiting results.
How to Apply
To apply for admission, follow these steps:
- Purchase the UCC admission voucher.
- Visit the UCC online admission portal at https://apply.ucc.edu.gh/
- Fill out the online application form accurately and provide all necessary information.
- Review all the entered information and click on the “Submit” button.
- Print out a copy of your application for reference.
UCC’s Grade D7 Admission Policy
Please note that UCC does not accept grade D7 for admission.

WASSCE certificate holders must apply with an aggregate between A1-C6 in six subjects, while SSSCE certificate holders must apply with an aggregate between A-D.
