Jephthah Kwame Sefah, the National President of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG), has announced the probable payment date for the Teacher Trainees Allowance.

The National President of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG), Jephthah Kwame Sefah, has announced that the Teacher Trainees Allowance is expected to be paid next week.

Speaking at the TTAG Leadership seminar held at Accra College of Education on May 17th, 2024, Sefah urged trainees to check with their Allowance Coordinators to ensure that their details are correct and have been submitted to the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF).

Dear Trainees, payment of Allowance is Possible next week,” he noted.

Sefah also stated that SLTF is working to pay all arrears at once for all trainees, rather than in batches as was previously done.

He emphasized that trainees should ensure their correct details are captured to avoid any delays in receiving their payments.

According to him, the disbursement process is being delayed by the fact that some colleges have not yet submitted their students’ details to the SLTF.

He urged SRC Presidents to inform their coordinators to speed up the process by Monday so that the allowance can be released as soon as possible.
