Mr. Hayford Panyin, the SRC president for Enchi College of Education has been elected as the NDC’s Western North Region Deputy Youth Organizer.
Panyin who is very hardworking and industrious polled 15 votes to defeat Prince Ofori Nkrumah and Jesse Yaw Aidoo, who had 10 and 11 votes respectively.
The election held at Bodi, a suburb in the western North Region on Saturday, 12th November 2022 was free and fair.
In his victory speech, Mr. Hayford Panyin expressed his appreciation to God and his adherents for their unflinching support.
He also pledged to work together with all those who lost to present a unified front for efficacious and strategic mobilization of the youth for victory in the 2024 general elections.
Speaking with Coleman Publications, Hayford posited the victory was not startling to him as he was the incumbent regional deputy youth organizer for the Western Region, before the creation of the Western North Region.
Adding that, he has been in the position since 2018 and he is thankful the new region-created has entrusted the mandate to him again.
Mr. Hayford Panyin concluded by asserting that, he is into work and ensuring the needs of the youth in the region are met for victory in the upcoming general elections-2024
