Teacher Trainee allowance is paid to teacher trainees to cater for their fees and other expenses in school. And the body responsible for the disbursement is The Student Loan Trust Fund(SLTF).
It has been noted that SLTF has made a disbursement of two(2) months arrears to trainees across all the accredited forty-six(46) colleges of education in the country.
There was a disbursement message error and students are yet to receive their allowances messages.
It is understood that the ‘message error’ is causing a lot of controversies which is also growing tension among Trainees as to whether the Students Loan Trust Fund has truly made disbursement or not.
Students are advised to go to the bank and load their cash on their ezwich as their messages will come later on.
