The SHS school placement been released, and it requires students to purchase a checker voucher and follow simple steps to check the school they gained admission into.

Buying School Placement Vouchers Using Mobile Money
To purchase the school placement voucher using mobile money, please follow these simple steps:
- Visit HERE
- Select the type of card you want to buy, such as the CSSPS Placement Checker.
- Enter the quantity of cards you wish to purchase, and the total amount will be automatically calculated.
- Click on “Buy Now”.
- You will be directed to a new screen where you need to input your name and phone number (Card details will be sent via SMS to the phone number provided).
- Proceed to the payment section.
- Choose Mobile Money as the payment option and enter your Mobile Money number.
- An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your phone to confirm the payment.
- Confirm the payment on your phone.
- You will instantly receive an SMS with the placement details and instructions to check.
Note: You can also dial *800*055# and follow the prompt to buy your checker.
Checking Senior High School Placement
Once you have obtained a placement pin code from an approved vendor, follow the steps below to check your Senior High School placement:
- Visit HERE
- Enter your ten-digit index number and append 23 to represent the year of completion. For example, if your index number is 1234567890, enter 123456789023.
- Enter the pin code details, including the serial number and pin.
- Click on “Submit” and wait for your placement to be displayed.
- If you have been placed, print the placement form and visit the school to begin the admission process.
- If you haven’t been placed automatically, the system will redirect you to the self-placement portal.

Performing Manual/Self Placement
If a candidate is not matched with any of their preferred choices through the automatic placement system, they will be redirected to the self-placement portal.
Follow these simple steps to perform manual/self-placement:
- Select a school by providing the following information:
- Region
- Residential preference
- School
- Programme of Choice
it should be noted that Candidates can change their selected schools on the self-placement portal as many times as they wish until they enrol in a school.
