To start the admission process, you must have the College of Education admission voucher. This voucher can be obtained from any branch of Consolidated Bank Ghana Limited at Gh¢230.00.
You can also use the Short Code *924*8# to buy the voucher. Dial the short code on all mobile networks and follow the prompt. Upon payment, you will be given the following information:
- A Personal Identification Number (PIN).
- An Admission Application Serial Number.
- The Admission Website Address – http://admission.coeportal.edu.gh

Below is the guide on how to apply for Tumu College of Education admission online.
You are required to follow this set of instructions to help you successfully apply for Tumu College of Education admission through the College Portal.
- Visit the College Admission Portal:https://admission.coeportal.edu.gh/
- Supply your card(voucher) information and ensure you keep the card safely for subsequent login.
- Click ‘Login’ to start applying.
- Fill the Application form by supplying all the required details, as well as attaching a passport picture.
- Your passport picture should be in JPG or JPEG format and must not exceed 40KB in size.
- You can click on the ‘Preview’ button to do any of the following:
Note: In the process, you are to select three Colleges of your choice with their Programme and an accompanying Ghanaian Language.
- Select Tumu College of Education as your first choice
- Click the ‘Edit’ button to modify your application.
- Click the ‘Save and Continue later button’ to save your application form for the option of coming back at a later time to edit.
- Click ‘Submit and Print Confirmation’ to complete your online application.
- After clicking on ‘Submit and Print Confirmation’, click ‘Print Form’ button to print Confirmation Page.
- Keep your printed Confirmation Page safe. You will require your Application Form Number shown on the page to check your admission status and also print your admission letter.
- Click on the ‘Close’ to go back to the login page.
- You are then required to print two copies of each of your confirmation pages and attach your results slip(s) and any other documents deemed necessary and forward same by post to the Principal of Tumu College of Education(P. O Box 19, Tumu-Upper West Region). Failure to do so means the application won’t be processed.
- Do not forget to quote your Application Reference/Form Number on your envelope.

Admission Period
Admissions processes will close on Tuesday, 31st October, 2023.
Please note the following:
- You are advised to read and to ensure you fully comprehend all related instructions before completing and submitting the application form.
- You are to note that application forms not properly completed will not be processed.
- After completing the online application form, you will need to print a copy which should be sent with one passport photograph and a copy/copies of your results slip(s) (where available) by EMS priority envelope obtainable from Ghana Post nationwide and addressed to The Principal of Tumu College of Education. This is because you selected Tumu College as your first choice College.
- You will be notified of the receipt of the applications by SMS (text message) and should therefore provide correct and reliable cell phone numbers when completing the form online.
- You will also receive admission offer notifications by SMS, and if you do not receive such notifications, understand it to mean that their applications were not successful.
- You are to note that the Colleges will cross-check your results from the West African Examinations Council as part of the admission process.
- If found to have submitted fake or falsified documents in support of your applications, you will be made to face the legal consequences of your actions.
- Tumu Colleges of Education is no longer accepting D7.
