The St. Ambrose College of Education has held its 15th Matriculation Ceremony, welcoming a total of 221 students into the college community for the 2023/2024 academic year.
The event, which took place on 8th March 2024, marked the official enrollment of sixty-eight (68) male and one hundred and fifty-three (153) female fresh students into the various programmes offered by the college.

During the ceremony, Rev. Dr. John Addai Boateng, the Guest Speaker and Council Chair for the college, highlighted the significance of the occasion.
He urged the matriculants to adhere to the rules and regulations of the college, emphasizing that these guidelines are now binding on them as official members of the college.

In his keynote address, the college’s Principal, Rev. Fr. George Akwasi Kyeremeh, focused on the theme “Education in the age of technology.”
He reminded the matriculants not to lose sight of their purpose for being in college and cautioned against becoming overly reliant on technology, particularly artificial intelligence, in their academic pursuits.
Rev. Fr. Kyeremeh stressed the importance of using technology judiciously while retaining the supremacy of critical thinking.

As part of the matriculation ceremony, some continuing students were recognized and honoured for their academic achievements.
Among them, Master Emmanuel Kyeremeh, a Level 200 student with a perfect CGPA of 4.0, was acknowledged for his outstanding performance.

Additionally, Master Francis Arhin, a Level 300 student with a CGPA of 3.75, and Master Benjamin Takyi, a Level 400 student with a CGPA of 3.8202, were also commended by the college’s management.
The awards ceremony aimed to celebrate academic excellence and serve as an inspiration for other students to strive for higher achievements.
