The Students Loan Trust Fund(SLTF) has made payment of a month’s stipend to teacher trainees across the 46 Public Colleges of Education in the country. This disbursement was done on Thursday, 2nd March 2023.
The Trust Fund has made it clear in a release on Friday that the disbursement made is for the 6th Month of the last academic year-2022.
That is, teacher trainees, spend eight(8) months in school, and out of that last year, they have now made a disbursement for the 6th Month. This implies it is left with 2 months to settle for the last academic year. As for the 2023 academic year, they have made no disbursement to its effect.
Students who have received ‘nothing’ so far.
Our News Team has been informed some of the payments made by the Trust Fund were unsuccessful due to the wrong Username on Ezwich.

However, the affected students have been duly informed via telephone. SLTF is also making the necessary arrangement to send an Email to the various colleges of the affected students.
Therefore, such students are to remain calm as their allowance liaison officers would call them for the necessary corrections.
According to the SLTF, Students with outstanding payments to the 6th Month paid will receive more than the one month paid. Therefore such students are to verify and ensure that they have received all their outstanding payments, if not they are to see their liaison officers.
