The Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has refuted claims made by some teacher trainees who alleged that the organisation still owes them two additional months for the 2022/2023 academic year.
However, Our checks show that these claims are unfounded as the SLTF is not in debt to any teacher trainee for the aforementioned academic period aside those having issues with their particulars.

The confusion may have arisen from the shortened duration of the 2022/2023 academic year, which lasted only six months instead of the usual eight.
Consequently, the last arrears for the 2022/2023 academic year for teacher trainees were disbursed on January 16th, 2024, covering the full period of their studies.
