Progress All JHS 2 Students – GES Directs Heads of Basic Schools

0

The Management of the Ghana Education Service has issued a communique directing all Heads of Basic Schools not to repeat any 2022 academic year JHS 2 student for the 2023 academic year.

According to Ghana Education Service, the current JHS 3 students are the last batch of the Objective-Based Curriculum who will be writing BECE this year, with the Current JHS2 students as the first batch to write in 2024 using the Standard-Based Curriculum.

In order not to disadvantage any Objective-Based Curriculum student in the 2024 BECE, all the last year’s JHS 2 students should be promoted to JHS 3.

The Management has requested all the Regional Directors of Education to ensure strict compliance by all Heads of Basic Schools for a smooth transition.
