NUSSA KNUST Organises Career Guidance And Educational Outreach For High Schools In the Western North Region

NUSSA-KNUST chapter has organized a highly successful and impactful Career Guidance and Educational Outreach event for secondary schools in the Western North Region.

Held on the 8th of July 2023, the program aimed to provide students with valuable insights and guidance regarding their future career paths and educational opportunities.

The event took place at Juaboso Senior High School, with participation from two other notable institutions, namely Nana Ntaadu Senior High School and Amoaya Senior High School.

This collaborative effort between NUSSA KNUST and the aforementioned schools created an environment of learning, inspiration, and growth for all the attending students.

The program was expertly coordinated by Mr. John Aboagye Mochia, the Headmaster of Juaboso Senior High School, who also served as the chairman for the event.

To ensure the event’s success, various esteemed individuals were present, including the District Education HR, the Assistant Headmistress, and the Senior House Mistress of Juaboso Senior High School.

Additionally, teachers from Nana Ntaadu Senior High School and Amoaya Senior High School actively participated.

The event also benefited greatly from the presence of students and alumni from the prestigious Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

One notable speaker at the event was Oheneba Atta Kwame Bennie Cosmos, who represented the Network for Western North Development. In his insightful speech on the topic of “Discipline and Integrity,” Cosmos emphasized the importance of these qualities in achieving success.

He encouraged the students to uphold the honor and reputation of the Western North Region in all their endeavors, serving as ambassadors for their community and showcasing their talents to the world.

The Career Guidance and Educational Outreach event provided students with valuable information and advice, helping them to make informed decisions about their future careers.
