The Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) registration process is simple and straightforward, allowing candidates to secure their exam spot hassle-free.

Here are the steps and important details candidates need to know for a successful registration;

 Fee Structure:

To register for the GTLE, candidates need to pay the following fees based on their specific circumstances:

  • Fresh candidates: Four hundred and fifty Ghana Cedis (GH⍧450.00) for three papers.
  • Candidates re-sitting a paper: GHȻ 150.00.
  • Candidates re-sitting two (2) papers: GHȻ 210.00.
  • Candidates re-sitting all three (3) papers: GHȻ 385.00.
Payment Options:

Candidates have two convenient payment options available:

  • Payment at Prudential Bank Ltd: Candidates can make their payment at any branch of Prudential Bank Ltd. nationwide.
  • Candidates making payment at the bank must collect their Pin and Serial Number from the bank upon payment.
  • Alternatively, they can choose to pay through mobile money using the short code *772*51# across all networks.

Online Registration Process:

Candidates are required to complete their registration online by following the steps below after receiving their NTC index Number:

  • Step 1: Log on to https://exams.ntc.gov.gh/.
  • Step 2: Enter the e-voucher Serial number and Pin obtained from the bank/SMS.
  • Step 3: Fill in all the necessary fields, ensuring accurate information is provided.
  • Step 4: Upload a passport-size photograph as per the specified requirements.
  • Step 5: Review all the information provided before submitting.
  • Step 6: Print a summary of the inputs made for personal records.
  • Step 7: Read and agree to the examination regulations by checking the designated box.
  • Step 8: Safely secure the Pin and Serial Numbers for future reference and use.

 Eligibility and Examination Portal:

Only eligible candidates with their details registered on the examination portal should proceed with payment.
