In response to a petition received from the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG), the National Teaching Council (NTC) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the 2024 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) 1.

The new registration deadline is now set for Thursday, 14th March, 2024.

The decision to extend the registration deadline was made to accommodate the request from TTAG, which highlighted the need for more time for the affiliated Universities to upload the data of qualified students from the Colleges of Education onto the NTC examination portal.

As a result of this extension, the examination date has been rescheduled from the initial dates of 17th to 19th March, 2024 to the new dates of 22nd to 24th April, 2024.
