The Ag. Director of Cooperate Affairs of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Ambrose Jnr Entsiwah, has confirmed that the delay in payment for National Service Personnel who started their service in November last year will be resolved soon.
In an interview on TV3’s New Day Morning Show on January 29, 2024, Entsiwah assured viewers that the scheme is almost through with necessary regional validations.

While acknowledging that the personnel had not received their payment since commencing their service in November, Entsiwah emphasized that the delay was within the framework of the NSS operations.
“The delay was due to some essential activities that usually take place within the first two months of postings”

He further emphasized that all personnel are made aware of this beforehand during their pre-service campus orientations.
Despite the delay, Entsiwah urged the National Service personnel to remain patient as their payments are expected to reach them in February.

He assured them that the NSS is working diligently to ensure that the necessary processes are concluded without further delay.
