For a college to function optimally, an efficient and effective administration block is crucial. It serves as the hub of operations, facilitating the smooth running of the institution.
Unfortunately, for the past 75 years, Komenda College of Education had been struggling with an administration block that could not adequately accommodate the increasing number of departments and sections due to the four-year program the college offers.
However, in 2010, a two-story building apartment was started as part of the GetFund Project for the college.

Despite the struggle to complete the building, the current management of the college recognized the need for a spacious and modern administration block and took on the responsibility of completing the project.
Today, 13 years after the initial construction began, the Administration Block of Komenda College of Education is finally complete and commissioned.
This well-planned and spacious building now consists of vast offices for the entire top-management team, academic team, principal office, account section, exam sections, and all departmental offices.
Additionally, the block features conference halls, guest rooms, stores, and other amenities that contribute to the smooth operation of the college.

The New Administration Block is named Abraham Brew Sam in honour of a prominent figure in the history of the college.
The project, according to the Principal of the College, Very Reverend Kwesi Nkum Wilson(PhD), was completed through the support of the college council and the College’s Internally Generated Funds.
This achievement was celebrated during the college’s 75th-anniversary celebration, which was marked with a special Old Student Congress on Friday, March 10, 2023.
Furthermore, the college has also refurbished its ICT laboratory with a new set of computers to provide students with the necessary digital skills required in today’s world.
