Jesus In School Movement (JISMO) was founded by Prophet Frederick Ocran in the year 2021 as part of visions given to him by God to propagate His message across the World.
On 16th September 2022, the Non- profitable organization hosted its first-anniversary festivity at Komenda M/A JHS B’ School at Komenda.
Speaking to Coleman Publications, The founder and President, Prophet Frederick Ocran asserted that, the purpose of the formation of JISMO is to preach the Gospel in all the Basic schools in the country and Win the learners to God.
“The rationale behind the movement is to dissipate and evangelize the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ all over Ghana and beyond. Currently, we are dominating the K.E.E.A municipality Basic Schools”, Ocran stated.
The Anniversary celebration was Graced by Reverend Father Stephen Sackey, Resident Minister of the Anglican Church, Cape Coast.
He preached on the theme ” Children are the gift of God”, urging all the learners present to see themselves as ‘gifts’ by holding onto integrity and godly lifestyles”
“Don’t live as a worldly person, cling to God and adhere to His instructions and it will certainly be well with you”. Reverend Father Stephen Sackey expressed.
As part of the celebrations, JISMO organized a Bible Sword Drill and Bible Quiz competitions for some selected schools in the K.E.E.A Municipality, of which 6 schools participated with two contestants each.
The schools were;
I. St. Michael And Angels Anglican Basic School
II. Aldersgate Methodist Basic School
III. Komenda College Practice Basic Scho
IV. Komenda M/A JHS B’ Basic School
V. Entsua Mensah Preparatory Basic School
VI. Emmanuel Preparatory Basic School
At the end of the competition, Komenda College Practice Basic School was crowned the Winner.

Mrs. Irene Forson Nsiah, A lecturer at Komenda College of Education and a part-time teacher at the University of Cape Coast, UCC, and the University of Education, Winneba, and the Quiz Mistress for the event congratulated all the participants for the good work done and urged them to take their studies significant for they will be better people in the future for God and Country.
The Quiz Participants were given desired prizes with certificates.
