The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) is set to begin the next stage of its 2024 recruitment exercise on Monday, November 11th, 2024.
Successful applicants from the initial stages of the recruitment process will now proceed to the Fire Academy and Training School in Jamestown, Accra, for Body Selection, Documentation, and Medical Examinations.
The Body Selection phase will evaluate candidates’ physical capabilities and suitability for fire service work.
This will be followed by Documentation, which involves verification of birth certificates and academic credentials.

Candidates who successfully complete these stages will then undergo medical examinations, with the cost of these examinations borne by the individuals themselves.
The GNFS has strongly cautioned unsuccessful applicants and the public against paying anyone claiming to guarantee recruitment.
The service has emphasized that no payments are required to secure a place in the GNFS.

The recruitment process, which was initiated with a public announcement in August, aims to fill various roles within the Ghana National Fire Service.
Applicants are encouraged to adhere to the guidelines and requirements set forth by the GNFS for a fair and transparent selection process.
