The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced that first-time registration for the Ghana Card remains free at all 276 of its operational district offices nationwide.
This announcement comes as the NIA implements approved fees for first-time issuance and other services at its designated Premium Centres.
According to a public notice released February 25th, 2025, the initiative aims to enhance efficiency and maintain transparency in service charges across different NIA service points.
