The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Sekondi Constituency, Lawyer Blay Armah, has pledged his support for Holy Child College of Education.
The parliamentary hopeful, in his bid to strengthen ties with educational institutions within his constituency, engaged in productive discussions with the Management of the College on 16th September, 2024.
During the meeting, the College Management presented several challenges that have hindered the College’s smooth operation, key among them being the issue of broken-down college vehicles, which have severely impacted transportation for students and staff for Supported Teaching in Schools (STS) activities.

Additionally, the College highlighted ongoing difficulties related to the maintenance and expansion of its physical infrastructure, crucial for accommodating the growing number of students and ensuring a conducive learning environment.
In response, Lawyer Blay Armah pledged to prioritize the repair of the College’s broken-down vehicles.
Acknowledging the importance of functional transportation for the day-to-day activities of the institution, he assured management that he would take immediate steps to facilitate the repair of these vehicles, enabling smoother operations for the college.
Furthermore, Lawyer Blay Armah committed to assisting in improving the college’s infrastructure.

Recognizing the pivotal role that educational facilities play in shaping the future of the youth, he expressed his determination to channel resources and mobilize support for the renovation and expansion of the college’s buildings.
The college management expressed appreciation for his visit and his promises of support.
They emphasized that, with the help of leaders like him, the college would be better equipped to offer quality education and improve the overall experience for students and staff.
