Management and Learners of Komenda College of Education took part in Communal Labour organized by the Komenda Traditional Council on 22nd January 2022.
Being a college well vested in cleanliness and ensuring that its environment is well kept, extended its insight and expertise to help honor an invitation served them by the council.
Speaking to Coleman Publications , Nana Kwahin V who is the President of Komenda Traditional Council said, this is the first time a thing of this nature has happened and expressed his gratitude.
“I am much grateful to Management and the entire College community for honoring our invitation to help tidy up the community. This Is the first of it kind and I expect this to strengthen the School-community link”, he added.
The Municipal Chief Executive-Honorable Solomon Ebo Appiah who is a KOSA said, he has been in the college and this is also his first time of seeing something of this nature. He, being overwhelmed by the attendance of the students and the Management said ” it’s just a beginning of a new era”. Because the council is now forever ready to answer any call from the college.
” for coming in your numbers like this to show us love and support, we are forever thankful. And I must announce to you that anytime you call upon us, we will answer and anytime you need our support, just call us”, he added.
