In the 46 public colleges of education in the country, teacher trainees are eagerly anticipating the disbursement of their allowances from the Student Loan Trust Fund.

The Immediate Past President of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG), Jonathan Dzunu, has provided assurances that their stipends will be disbursed this week.

In an interview with an SLTF correspondent on Monday, 3rd April 2023, he assured Us that the SLTF is currently working on making disbursement for both loans and allowances to students. However, he has not received any information on the specific release date, he affirmed that everything is intact and disbursement can be made at any moment from now.
