The Government of Ghana, through the Ministry of Education, has announced a significant increase in the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) allowance for pre-tertiary teachers, demonstrating its commitment to fostering a highly skilled and effective education system.
The Ministry of Education has confirmed the news, revealing that professional teachers will now receive GH¢2,400 annually, a substantial rise from the previous GH¢1,200.
Non-professional teachers will see their allowance increase to GH¢1,800 from the previous GH¢800.
