The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has officially announced the commencement of its 2024 enlistment process for Regular Career Course and Short Service Commission Officers.
Interested individuals can apply online through the GAF’s official website, https://apply.mil.gh/ .
Scratch cards for the online application are available for purchase at designated Ghana Post offices across the country at a cost of GH¢350.00 each.
The closing date for online submissions is Friday, October 11, 2024.

GAF has emphasized that it does not employ middlemen or agents for enlistment.
The public is strongly advised to refrain from paying any fees to individuals claiming to assist with the application process.
Any suspected middlemen or intermediaries should be reported to the nearest military installation or police station.
Individuals paying money to such agents are also considered culpable in the fraudulent act.
Entry Requirements
The Ghana Armed Forces is an equal opportunity employer.

Any person found parading as an agent or middle man would be prosecuted and those who deal with such people do so at their own risk.
Anybody who presents false documents would also be arrested and prosecuted.
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY
Eligible applicants should:
- Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth.
- Be of good character.
- Not be bonded.
- Not be married.
- Not be less than 18 years and not more than 26 years by 31 March 2025.
- Be medically fit by Ghana Armed Forces standard.
- Must pass the Pre Joining Fitness Test.
- Be of minimum height of 1.68m (5’6”) for males and 1.60m (5’4”) for females. For Military Police only; the minimum height for male applicants should be 1.75m (5’9”) and 1.70m (5’ 7”) for females.
- Must have the following:
- BECE. Six (6) Passes at BECE including English and Mathematics.
- WASSCE. Six (6) Credits (not less than C6 ) including Core English, Core Mathematics. and Science.
- OR
- SSSCE. Six (6) Credits (not less than D ) including Core English and Core Mathematics.
- OR
- GCE ‘O’ & ‘A’ Levels. Five (5) Credits (not less than 6) including English and Mathematics at GCE ‘O’ Level and not less than D in three subjects and General Paper at GCE ‘A’ Level.
