The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially informed parents, students, and the general public that the reporting date for first year students is set for 4th December, 2023.
According to a press release issued on 2nd December, 2023, management has expressed their expectation that schools will begin registration and orientation of students from the 4th of December 2023.
GES also revealed that there will be a Christmas break starting on the 21st of December 2023, and classes will resume on the 3rd of January to continue academic work until March 5th 2024.
In addition, Management is urging all students who have not yet completed their Self Placement to do so as quickly as possible.
The Ghana Education Service also expressed their appreciation for all stakeholders who have collaborated and supported the CSSPS process up to this point.
They have asked for continued patience in order to ensure that the academic calendar for SHS is implemented without any issues, with the ultimate goal of returning to the pre-covid academic calendar.
