The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has issued a caution to the public regarding a fraudulent internet link advertising GAF’s 2023/2024 recruitment exercise.
The GAF wants to inform the general public to avoid patronizing this fraudulent link being circulated on social media platforms, especially WhatsApp and Facebook.
It should be noted that the GAF is not conducting any recruitment or enlistment at the moment and has not advertised such for the year 2023/2024. Therefore, the public and persons interested in joining GAF should stick to the certified and official channels that GAF uses in announcing recruitment and enlistment exercises. These channels include the national dailies, such as Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Times.

It is crucial to emphasize that the GAF does not advertise on social media and does not engage middlemen in such exercises. The public is reminded to desist from paying monies through ‘mobile money’ to unscrupulous persons who claim to be recruitment agents of GAF. GAF is working with other security services to track down these unscrupulous persons and deal with them according to the law.
Once again, the GAF emphasizes that it is not conducting any 2023/2024 recruitment/enlistment exercise at this time. The public is advised to take note and report any advertisement and persons soliciting monies for such exercises to the nearest Military Installation or Police Station. GAF requires the cooperation of the public to stop these fraudulent activities.
