Not only will they acquire concrete information to share with their learners, but they will also develop a desire to take their future students on educational trips, similar to the ones they have experienced.
The first destination on their itinerary was the Aburi Botanical Gardens in the Eastern Region.
A knowledgeable tour guide led the students through the expansive gardens, explaining the importance of preserving and protecting the diverse plant species found within.

The students were captivated by the vibrant colours of the flowers and the serenity of the environment. They had the opportunity to witness firsthand the practical applications of plant science and the importance of conservation.
After the educational tour of the Botanical Gardens, the students proceeded to the renowned Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum in Accra.
The park serves as a memorial to Ghana’s first President, Kwame Nkrumah, and the tour guide provided detailed information about his life, achievements, and his significant role in Ghana’s struggle for independence.
The students were engrossed in the history lesson and felt a sense of pride learning about their country’s political heritage.

To conclude the excursion, the students visited West Hills Mall, a modern shopping centre that showcases Ghana’s growing urbanization and economic development.
