There are many trainees who are reaching out to our outlet inquiring about the colleges of education 2024/2025 academic calendar.
This article aims to answer some of their questions and provide clarification to the best of our ability.
Please note that the Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education, Ghana (PRINCOF) and the affiliated Universities are yet to release an official full academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Initially, the colleges (PRINCOF) planned to return to their initial academic calendar (before Covid-19).
However, the industry strike action by CETAG has caused a disruption, so PRINCOF has to come up with a new calendar that will possibly help the colleges return to their pre-Covid-19 academic calendar (hopefully next year), where the first semester starts in October.
Tentative Start Date:
However, PRINCOF has set 18th November, 2024 as the start of academic activities for the 2024/2025 academic year. Please note that this date is tentative and Maybe subject to change.
