The University of Ghana (UG) has vehemently denied claims circulating online that its Computer Science department requires students to purchase specific Apple devices for their studies.

In a statement, the University described these claims as “false and misleading,” emphasizing that no such requirement exists.

The statement further clarified that UG remains dedicated to a technology-driven approach while ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all students, regardless of their preferred devices.

This policy encourages students to acquire affordable laptops, empowering them to actively engage with information and contribute to knowledge creation.
