
The Institute for Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Education (ITECPD) has announced revisions to the academic calendar for Level 300 students enrolled in colleges of education affiliated to the University of Education, Winneba (UEW).
Following a meeting with heads of STS and STS UEW coordinators, ITECPD has approved the following recommendations:
• Embedded Teaching: Level 300 students will undertake a three-week embedded teaching period at their homes during the holiday break, from May 7 to 28, 2024.

• On-Campus Teaching Practice: From June 10 to 28, 2024, Level 300 students will participate in a three-week on-campus Teaching Practice.
This practice will be supervised and supported by tutors to prepare students for extended teaching in Level 400.

These adjustments aim to enhance the practical teaching experience for Level 300 students and ensure their readiness for the extended teaching phase in their final year.
Affected students and affiliated colleges are advised to note these changes and make necessary arrangements accordingly.
