The National Secretariat of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) has provided Level 300 and final-year students in public colleges of education with essential information about their academic journey.
Here are the latest updates released by TTAG on 9th October 2023;
Insufficient Funding Hinders French Students’ Trip
TTAG stated that the eagerly anticipated trip of French students from public Colleges of Education to Togo and Benin for practical experience has encountered a setback.

According to them, the Scholarship Secretariat has failed to provide adequate funding to support the initiative.
However, TTAG assured trainees that talks are underway between Principals and the Secretariat to resolve the issue amicably.
UEW and UCC Maintain Practicum Fee
According to TTAG, Both the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) and the University of Cape Coast (UCC) remain firm in their decision to maintain the current practicum fee for level 400 students in the first semester despite their previous appeals to reconsider the fee’s imposition.
However, TTAG added that UEW has expressed their willingness to discuss the matter during their upcoming management meeting.

The National Secretariat stated they will continue to monitor the situation closely and will keep students informed of any developments.
Levels 300 and 400 Commence Second Semester
