The Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) has expressed shock and outrage following the brutal murder of Hannah Akosua Frimpomaa, a teacher trainee at Atebubu College of Education.
The incident occurred on Friday, June 21, 2024, and has left the education community deeply saddened and traumatized.

In a press release issued on 25th June, 2024, TTAG described Frimpomaa as a dedicated and hardworking student with a passion for teaching and a desire to make a positive impact on children’s lives.
“The deceased, Hannah Akosua Frimpomaa, was a dedicated and hardworking student who had a passion for teaching and making a difference in the lives of children”
The association vehemently condemned this “senseless and heinous crime,” calling for a thorough investigation and swift justice for the perpetrators.
TTAG called on the police and relevant authorities to take immediate action to apprehend and prosecute those responsible for this tragic incident.
“We demand that the culprits are brought to justice,” the release stated.

The association expressed their deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased.
“We share their pain and grief and offer our support and solidarity during this difficult time,” TTAG concluded.
