The Air force Cadet of Komenda College of Education Receives support from the Deputy Defence Minister

As part of the Second Annual founders Day Celebration and public Lecture by Komenda College of Education, The Air Force Cadet of the College on 10th March, 2022 held a Parade.

The Deputy Minister of Defence, Honorable Kofi Amankwa-Manu was invited as a Review Officer, he was accompanied by Air Commodore Eric Agyen-Frimpong, the Airforce Base Commander at Takoradi

In His address, Honorable Kofi Amankwa-Manu expresed his gratitude to the college for the invitation.

The college is indeed having hard working facilitators and Principal, Very Reverend Dr. Kwesi Nkum Wilson. I am very glad to be part of this success story today, He added.

The Deputy Minister, impressed by the display of the cadet supported them in cash to help them procure their Uniforms, drums and other necessary equipment needed to keep the cadet running.

The College started out of buildings(Barracks) left by the Fleet Air Arm of the British Navy after the World War II, hence the need to support the Cadet to keep the culture and the history of the College alive, he concluded.
