The industrial action that began on March 20, 2024, which saw the three teacher unions go on strike was finally called off on April 2, 2024.
Reasons for Calling Off the Strike
The strike was called off due to a court injunction obtained by the National Labour Commission against the three teacher unions.
The injunction prohibited the unions from continuing their strike action.
