The Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) has announced that one month of the four-month arrears owed to teacher trainees in public colleges of education is currently being processed.

The outstanding payments date back to the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.

In a formal statement released on January 30, 2025, addressed to all Local TTAG Presidents (SRCs) of the 47 public colleges of education, the TTAG National Secretariat confirmed that the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) is in the process of disbursing the payment.

The beneficiaries include continuing level 200, 300, and 400 students, as well as the 2024 graduating class who completed their Bachelor of Education programs on October 11, 2024.
